The insecticide, known as Pyrethrum, is extracted from
Chrysanthemum flowers grown in Kenya. The natural
Pyrethrum solution is placed in the reservoir and mixed
with water. The Mosquito Solution Pyrethrum is water
based and biodegradable and is sought for sensitive
applications like the post harvest treatment of fruits
and vegetables. The Pyrethrum we use is the only
solution that is accepted by the EPA for residential use
and by the USDA for use in food processing facilities.
No other pyrethrum solution has this acceptance.The
system is only installed on the outside of homes such
as the garden area, pool, playground areas and
entertainment areas. The nozzles can be installed on the
eaves of a house, on risers in shrubs or on trees.
The nozzles are spaced 8 to 15 feet apart.The system is
set to automatically come on three times a day for 30
seconds. Normally the times are dusk, dawn and late at
